Welcome to Lesson 8, our final lesson. Set a baseline and apply common tracking methods. This lesson wraps up our discussion on scheduling basics with two critical topics baselining and tracking progress. To begin this lesson, we provide an overview of the different options you have to track progress and their level of complexity. Next, there's a discussion about the importance of saving a baseline before doing anything else, so you have a record of your initial plan. Finally, we go through each tracking technique including on track, by percent complete, and by actual values at either the task or the resource level.
