Project Online Desktop Client provides new features to assist you with managing your plan. Since Project Online Desktop Client is something you obtain through a Microsoft 365 subscription, you will find that updates are released on a regular basis. For those of you not on a subscription, Project Professional 2021 would be the closest non-subscription alternative. One of the things I notice frequently is changes to the interface which improve readability. You may discover these types of changes occur when Microsoft refreshes other programs such as Word and Excel. How you can tell that you have the latest updates installed is another area under File and this is Account. And these are all office updates and where they are. Feel free to update now. You can even determine what version you have here as well and read about what's new.
