Similar to building a spreadsheet, entering tasks is listing the activities that make up your plan. Now, I simply type in each task item. So let me enter a few. What I'm doing after each one is simply pressing "Enter." Now let's also make some mistakes, because I know that will happen to all of us. How might you fix those mistakes? You have several options. What you could do on any task that has a mistake, you could double click on it and in task information, manually make that adjustment. Now, some of you may be wondering if you use Excel, why does double click behave differently in project? Well, actually, many years ago this program was acquired by Microsoft and they didn't change the default functionality of some features such as this one. But if you prefer in-cell editing, here's a tip for you, you can either use your F2 key, if your keyboard oriented, by the way, that works in Excel as well, or if you're skilled with your mouse, you can click twice slowly and do in-cell editing…
