- [Instructor] How pretty do you need your table to look? Your choice of tool is going to have a big impact on how hard it will be to make it look nice. Excel is the least easy tool to work with in terms of look and feel formatting, mostly because it's not really intended to be a presentation tool but rather a working tool that has a few presentation-enabling and formatting features. You can format worksheet color, font, and size in Excel by the cell, the row, or the column. Commands for these are all available in the Home tab of the menu and they're very simple to use. Let's look at the Page Layout tab for a minute though. Here, you can change the default theme or color or font set for the entire worksheet at once. You've also got commands to facilitate printing of worksheets, such as defining print areas or adding background images.
