Manage Microsoft 365 by using PowerShell

We looked at managing Microsoft 365 by using the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, and later on in this course, we'll look at the other admin centers that exist within Microsoft 365 workloads. However, there's another way of managing Microsoft 365 that's through some scripting. Now we can use PowerShell or Bash scripting in order to manage our subscription, automate various tasks, bulk-edit projects. There's a number of advantages of using scripting that is not necessarily a very challenging thing to learn, or to add to your skill set as an administrator. You can either use PowerShell on your local computer and connect your local PowerShell application to your online tenant to Microsoft 365, or directly from the Admin Center, you can use what's called the Cloud Shell. So the Cloud Shell is essentially PowerShell in a very similar way to the way you would be using it on your computer, except it's built directly into the portal.
