- [Instructor] In this section, I'd like to talk about graphics processing on virtual machines. This is an area that may not be as mature as other aspects of virtualization. This is because many guests don't need advanced graphics. Most of the machines we virtualize tend to be servers. Things like email servers, web servers, file servers that just don't have need for advanced graphics capabilities. Therefore, many vendors of Hypervisors don't provide any resources dedicated to processing graphics. Some Hypervisors may provide direct access to a physical GPU. Therefore, your guest machines could access the physical GPU in the host machine, but typically, a host machine would only have one GPU, and therefore, you could only have one guest machine accessing that GPU.
