But before we look too deeply at SAP Analytics Cloud, let's take a quick step back to understand why products like it exist in the first place. Firstly, let's talk about what business intelligence is. Business intelligence, or just BI, is the term used to describe how the information that organizations have access to can drive more conscious business decisions. It's essentially about being in the business of data. Some people refer to it as data in a concise and consumable format, so what's the difference? What does it mean? By this, we mean, what's the difference between BI and data?
