- [Instructor] In this video we're going to discuss a very fundamental skill, and that is object selection. Before you can modify really anything in a project, you need to be able to select it, and being able to quickly select elements that you want to modify while excluding elements that you don't want to modify is a very important skill that you'll want to master. So in this video, we're going to begin the process of doing that. Now we could work in any view that we like. Object selection works in any view, 2D views, 3D views, plan sections, elevations. But for this example, I'm going to work in a level four floor plan. So I'm going to double click L4 here to open up that floor plan view. Now I'm going to zoom in on the lower right-hand corner of the plan right here. There's a Live/Work Unit 407 and 409 here and I want to focus on those two apartments for this example.
