Path of travel

- [Instructor] In this video, I want to talk about the path of travel tool. Now, this tool is only available in the full version of Revit. So if you have Revit LT, then I'm afraid you won't be able to follow along in this video. The path of travel tool is an analysis tool that allows you to calculate the optimal distance between two points, and it's ideal for calculating distance to exiting or things like that or code requirements and so on. So it's a good tool to help you when trying to determine those kinds of conditions within your projects. Now, I'm going to work here in our sample model, of course, and I wanted to point out that the path of travel tool has been used here in these life safety plans that you see in the file. So if you look for the floor plan's life safety plan branch and expand that, you're going to see that there is a life safety plan for each floor of the building. Now, it doesn't really matter which one we open. I'm going to open up the L4 view for this example.…
