Opening a collaborative team project
- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to talk about opening a model, but opening specifically a team-based project model. So what do I mean here? Well, it turns out that there's two different ways that projects can be configured in Revit. You can create a project that can only be accessed by one user at a time, and I sometimes refer to that as a standalone project; or you can create a team-based project, one that can be accessed by multiple users at the same time. This is something we call Worksharing in Revit. Now, I should point out, if you're following in this course in Revit LT, then this video does not apply to you because Revit LT does not support Worksharing. So what exactly are the differences, then, between accessing a Workshare-enabled project versus a standalone one? So let's take a look. So let's start with single user projects.
