- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to explore the Revit user interface and my main goal is to kind of name each of the major portions so that you can kind find your way around. So we're starting here on the Home screen. This is what greets you when you first launched the software. We've talked about this a little bit in some of the earlier videos. So what you see in the main portion of the screen here, Recent Files, might vary on your screen than what you see on mine. And the reason for that is Revit is simply displaying the last 10 or 12 or so models that you have opened on your system. And that list is changing all the time as you open and close new models. So don't pay too much attention to the specific icons that are visible on mine or your screen. Just know that that is the place where you can go to reopen something that you opened up previously.
