- [Instructor] In Moodle, forums provide a way to engage students in online discussions about course content. This provides an opportunity for you, the instructor, to read what users are posting and give feedback. Let's take a look at the forum activity inside of Moodle. I want to add one to one of my sections. My editing is turned on and I'm going to navigate down to the section where I'd like to add it, and that is right here in my communication methods. So I'm going to go to the bottom, and click add an activity or resource. From here, I want to find the forum activity, and then I'm going to click on that. Now, like the other activities and resources, it brings us to a page where we can start to customize it. First, I'm going to give the forum a name, and in this case it is elements of communication.
