What to know before starting this course

- [Presenter] Here's what you need to know to follow along with me in this course. Firstly, the course is tailored to those who are or will be end users of Microsoft 365, logging into their accounts to work with various apps available to them in their organization. So we won't be getting into any of the functions an administrator might use to deploy Microsoft 365 in an organization. Check the LinkedIn library for courses tailored to Microsoft 365 administration, if that's of interest to you. There are many different Microsoft 365 subscription models to choose from, which we'll get into a little bit later on. I'll be working with one of the business subscriptions. You may be working with a different subscription model as you follow along, in which case, your user interface may look slightly different from mine, and the apps you can access may also differ from mine. But not to worry, you should still be able to follow along in this course with ease. And because Microsoft 365 is mainly cloud-based, it's constantly being updated and improved upon. So you might log in one day and it'll look a little different than it did the day before. This again means what you see on your screen could differ from what you see on my screen as you follow along, even if we're both working with the same subscription model. Again, this should not affect your ability to follow along with me. There are no exercise files used in this course for those times when we will work with files, such as for sharing or collaborating with teammates, you can simply follow along with one of your own files. And lastly, keyboard shortcuts can be a nice time saver, so I'll be sharing some throughout this course. The good news is you don't need to memorize them. I'll be providing a more extensive list of the most popular keyboard shortcuts you can view at the end of this course and even download to have them on hand when you need them. That's it, we're now ready to roll.
