Install Docker on a Mac with Docker Desktop
- [Instructor] Installing Docker Desktop on the Mac is easy. Let's run through the steps. Note that you'll need to be running macOS 10.15 or newer and have at least 4 gigabytes of memory to use Desktop. To determine the version of macOS that you have and the amount of memory that you have, click on the apple on the upper left-hand corner of your screen. Then click on About This Mac. You'll get some information, and you can see the version right under the macOS title. And you can see memory to the right of Memory lower in the page. First, we're going to visit docker.com. When you load the page, you'll immediately see a blue download button for your operating system. Click on it to download Docker Desktop. If prompted, give the download a name, and click Okay or Save.
