What is the ITIL® Foundation 4?
- ITIL is the leading source of IT service management, guidance and certification. With over two million IT professionals certified, it highlights the outcomes critical to providing products and services and lays out best practices for achieving and maintaining those outcome. I'm Dave Pultorak. I contributed to ITIL and other frameworks, and I've been teaching people how to use and apply ITIL for over two decades. A lot has changed in the years since ITIL's last major revision, version three. The typical environment we manage is now a hybrid of traditional IT and cloud and mobile with a steady march towards the latter and new practices have emerged that are a better fit for these technologies, including DevOps, lean and agile practices. In response to these changes, there's a new version of ITIL, ITIL 4. Join me now for a first look.
