Overview of ITIL® 4 Foundation compared to ITIL® 3

- [Presenter] ITIL 4 was published in 2019. ITIL v3, the last major version of ITIL, was published in 2007. There was an interim revision for clarity in 2011, which is called the 2011 edition. ITIL 4 Foundation differs from ITIL v3 or 2011 edition in a number of important ways. So let's have a look at what's different. The first key difference is that the source publication for ITIL 4 Foundation is just one 200 page foundation book, where the ITIL v3 or 2011 edition Foundation course and exam draw on content from nearly 2000 pages spread across five books. The second key difference is the length of the course. The ITIL 4 Foundation course can be delivered in two days, where the ITIL v3 Foundation course requires a three day delivery.
