Using type styles

- [Instructor] Formatting a block of text in a document and then going onto the next block and the next block and the next block and so on and repeating that process is not only laborious and a huge waste of time, it also opens the door to errors. That's where they start to creep in because there's always something you miss or you're making changes, and then you have to do the whole thing all over again. And that's where paragraph and character styles can help us out. What I'm going to do is I'm going to zoom in on this block here that we were looking at at the end of the last movie, and I've just changed the typeface in use here. And I'm going to go ahead and go to the window menu and come down and choose paragraph styles. Now that will open over on the right hand side somewhere, and coming along with it, the character styles which we'll look at shortly.
