- [Instructor] When you place an image into an empty frame, it often doesn't appear at the correct size on your page. For example, in my document from the exercise files folder I'm going to go to the layout menu and choose next spread. Now I want to place an image inside this empty frame so I'll select it and then press Command+D on the Mac or Control+D on Windows to open the place dialogue box, I'll choose one of these images, let's say the third one, and click open. Now, in this case, I know that this is not the way I want this image to look. I wanted the image to fit inside the frame. It's important to remember that the frame is not the same as the image. They're two separate things, one inside the other. And you can select the image inside the frame using the selection tool in two different ways.
