- [Instructor] Let's now go over some of the details related to the HashiCorp Certified Terraform Associate Exam. The HashiCorp Associate Certification is a one hour long exam and it consists of multiple choice, multiple answer, true or false type questions. There could be about 57 questions in total, so you would have a little over a minute to answer each question. As of this recording, the exam costs about 70 US dollars and 50 cents and has a validity of two years. This is an online proctored exam, so you can take it from the comfort of your home from a laptop or a desktop computer. However, there are a few technical requirements. First of all, you cannot use virtual machines and you should have the PSI Secure Browser installed to start the exam. Additional or external monitors are not permitted and you would not be permitted to wear headphones. Webcam, speakers, and microphone should be on throughout the duration of the exam. The testing environment you would choose should be quiet and should have adequate lighting, and the online proctor should be able to see and hear you at all times. Your desk area should be clean and you're not permitted to have any electronic devices nearby except for the machine you use to write the test.
