- [Instructor] Okay, so let's cover some common cleaning tasks when working with data in Power Query. These are tasks I do almost every time, and it's good to cover them right off the bat. I've got the 02_01 SalesData file open, and notice I've also got the Queries pane open on the right. If you don't have that open, you go to the Data tab and you click this button here. Now, in older versions of Excel, this button will be called Show Queries. So click that guy, and you'll see the Queries pane on the right. Okay, so now is the moment of truth. We've got to clean up this data even more. So I'm going to right click the query here and choose edit, and Power Query opens. Now, one of the first things that I like to do with data is if there's a date column, I like to move that to the very left so that it's the first column of data. So I'll right click this Order Date header, and I will choose Move, and then to Beginning.…
