- We've covered embedding very briefly when talking about APIs, but in this lesson we'll take our understanding a little bit further. If you recall, we described embedding as a way for an entity using Tableau to add the capability of Tableau to its own applications. What does this really mean? Well, let's take something like this video, this one you're watching. Unless you're watching this video in full screen, the video will be playing in a video player inside of LinkedIn Learning. You can think of the webpage as the application and the video as an embedded object inside of the application.
