The answer is yes, but to a degree. There's a fine line between what comes across as being authentic versus what comes across as being unprofessional. To aid you in effectively toeing this line, this lesson will explain the difference between authenticity, transparency, and vulnerability. First, let's run through some of the important definitions. Authenticity means speaking your truth, making sure what you say is in full alignment with what you believe. These days, being authentic is table stakes for any management role.
