The ultimate guide to accessible PDFs

- [Instructor] Document accessibility is a skillset that is in high demand as of late. Federal and state agencies, as well as private industries, are seeing the need to ensure that all electronic documents that they publish online are accessible for all users. As a document author, you have the ability to make sure that all PDF documents that you create are fully accessible, and this course is going to show you how. Document accessibility is challenging to learn on your own. The skills I'm going to show you in this course will put you on the right path to properly creating accessible PDF files. I'll provide you with an overview of the process and some key things you need to know to get started. Then we'll dive in and learn the ins and outs of remediating an existing PDF file. After that, we'll work with source applications that will make the process much easier by facilitating the creation of an accessible PDF from those applications. My name is Chad Chelius. By watching this course, you're starting a valuable journey to learn how to make accessible PDF documents that will serve you well. I hope you enjoy watching this course as much as I'm looking forward to teaching you.
