Tagging tables

- [Instructor] Tables are an extremely useful element in a document as they allow users, regardless of disability, to interpret the information within that table. Tables are a good way of conveying a lot of information to the reader, but in order for tables to be read correctly using assistive software, the table, of course, needs to be tagged correctly. So let me walk you through the steps to appropriately tag a table in Adobe Acrobat. I'm going to navigate to page 19 where I have a table up here at the top of the page. Let me go ahead and zoom in a little bit to make it easier to see here. Now I'm going to open up my Reading Order Panel found under my Accessibility tool, and you can see the currently this table is not tagged. Now, I wish I had better news here, but you'll notice that there is in fact a table button inside of the Reading Order Panel.
