- [Instructor] InDesign paragraph styles serves several purposes. For one, they make it easy to accurately and efficiently control formatting of textual content in a document. Secondly, and probably most importantly, in the context of what we're learning here, it's the method by which we control what tag is applied to text elements, when we export to an accessible PDF file. Let's take a look at how we can define accessibility tags in InDesign. And I'm going to begin by opening up the paragraph styles panel in InDesign, by going to the window menu, down to styles, and choosing paragraph styles. Now, in the paragraph styles panel, the styles that I want to use in this document are already created.
