General considerations

- [Instructor] As with Microsoft Word, successful, accessible PDF creation from PowerPoint relies on you and I using the features of PowerPoint correctly. Not doing so equates to a lot of extra work after export. So I want to take a quick look at some of the things that we need to consider. Also similar to Microsoft Word, we basically have two methods by which we can create an accessible PDF file, one of which is using the Acrobat PDF Maker, located up here at the top of the interface. The other one is by simply choosing File and then Save As. So I'm going to use the latter option, and I'm going to come in here and change the format to PDF. And then I'm going to click on the More Options link, then the Options button. And I just want to make sure that in this area here, that we make sure these two check boxes are enabled to include the document properties as well as the document structure tags for accessibility.
