Footnotes and endnotes

- When footnotes are used in an accessible PDF, we need to make sure that the user can read those elements appropriately. By using the footnote and note feature In word, you ensure that these footnotes are properly tagged in the PDF file. What we going to do, is we going to scroll down to page five where we're going to add our first footnote. Now, although I'm showing the footnote feature in this video, the end note feature works in a very similar fashion. The main difference is the end notes go in the back of the document where footnotes go at the bottom of the page. So what I'm going to do here under section one, I'm going to click at the end of this first paragraph. And I'm going to come up here to the references menu and you're going to notice that right here is an insert footnote button, right here is the insert EndNote button for your reference.
