- [Instructor] If you've been watching this course from the beginning, you're already familiar with the need to add metadata, namely the title, to a document for accessibility compliance. The main benefit of starting the PDF remediation process from a source file, in our case, Word, is that the properties that you add to a document are repeatable. So if you ever need to make an edit and recreate the PDF, a lot of the work is already done for you, and you don't have to start over from scratch. Let's take a look at how to add the title to a document in Microsoft Word. So I'm starting here with the 04_02 document open on my computer, and I'm going to come up here to the File menu.
