Add cross-references in InDesign

- [Instructor] Cross-References in InDesign provide a way to reference other sections of the document. What makes Cross-References unique is that it actually also creates a link to that section, which makes the content quite accessible. Let's walk through the process of creating Cross-References in InDesign. I'm going to go ahead and jump to page 12 of this document. And you'll notice that the bottom of this first paragraph, there is a couple of words that says, see section 3.8 corrective action. And so right now that text is simply text. So certainly both sighted and non-sighted users, if they want to actually get to section 3.8, they've got to do it themselves, they've got to do it manually. So what we're going to do is we're going to create a Cross-Reference, which is going to create a link to that section of the document.
