- [Narrator] As one of the top vendors, it's essential to understand how security is dealt with using the native Microsoft cloud services. As with AWS, Microsoft has about the same amount of security services with very similar functions. It's interesting to see how they adopt each other's ideas. Let's reduce some of the major security services that Microsoft cloud services offers. Azure Active Directory is Microsoft's IAN, or identity access management solutions, providing a single sign-on and multi-factor authentication. Azure is Microsoft's public cloud. This works differently than AWS IAN in that it focuses on the directory service, whereas Active Directory is a popular on-premises directory service as well. Azure Security Center is a security manager and security posture manager and threat protection for hybrid cloud workloads.
