Security basics in Azure Virtual Network (VNet)

- [Instructor] Let us look at Microsoft Azure. Azure refers to virtual network as Virtual Network, Vnet, unlike AWS and Google Cloud who refer to the virtual network as virtual private cloud, VPC. An Azure VNet is a logically isolated network within the Microsoft Azure Cloud. A VNet in Azure provides a range of networking functions similar to the AWS or Google Cloud, VPC, or virtual Private Cloud. These functions include connectivity between virtual machines, routing and virtual private networks, VPNs. A VNet can be broken down into single or multiple subnets. To create a virtual network in Azure, navigate to the Azure portal and type virtual networks, or you can click on it, as it's already shown in our services, right here.
