- [Instructor] Amazon Web Services, AWS, is a cloud computing platform provided by Amazon that includes a mixture of infrastructure as a service, platform as a service, and software as a service offerings. The AWS Management Console is a web interface that lets users access and manage the broad range of services included in Amazon Web Services platform. The AWS Management Console is a management plane for AWS in a very critical security layer. If a cyber criminal gains access to the AWS Management Console, they would potentially have unfettered access to your AWS Cloud environment. To navigate through the hands-on practice demo sections, it is best to have a sandbox environments to explore with. One option is creating an account with AWS.
