- [Instructor] Microsoft Defender for Cloud is Microsoft Azure Native Cloud Security Posture management tool designed to protect Cloud-based applications from various cyber threats and vulnerabilities. Microsoft Defender for Cloud helps measure, maintain and improve the level of security by continuously assessing resources and providing recommendations. Think of Microsoft Defender as your first line of defense in protecting your Microsoft Azure Cloud. To launch Microsoft Defender for Cloud, simply search for it in the search bar. Microsoft Defender for Cloud. Once the service launches, you're presented with the very rich interface. There's a general section on your left.
