- [Narrator] In order to get started in Configuration Manager, we're going to need to make some changes to the default setup. I'm going to start by going into Administration and under Hierarchy Configuration, you can see the discovery methods. So the discovery methods are the way that Configuration Manager can go out and find various different assets on your network such as client, computers, phones, tablets anything else that you would like to add in. So you see all these different statuses set to disabled and that is the default for all these different ways of looking into where the devices are in your network. So one of the things I like to do is to start with Network Discovery. I'm going to go to where it says Enable Network Discovery.
