- Besides an Android or iPhone or Windows 10 or 11 computer, we can also set up Intune on a virtual machine running Windows 10 or 11. So I'm going to go to the search box and type in powershell and I'm going to run that as administrator and I'm going to be running some commands in order to get the hardware ID so I can set up Autopilot. Autopilot's going to allow us to have a computer shipped to a user and when they power it up and connect it to the internet, they're going to get all the different policies and applications that we pre-assigned to it. But if we don't have the hardware ID, then I can go ahead and type these commands and get it manually. So I'll type in a command to make a directory. So I'll type in c:\HwID. Now I'm going to switch over to that and I'm going to type set-location to that same directory. And upper and lower case don't actually matter unless you're typing in a password.
