- [Narrator] A feature in in-tune that may be unknown to many sys admins is the ability to allow users to have temporary admin access. This debate has been going on for decades as to whether or not we should give users admin access to their own computers. There are risks to allow it but there is user frustration to take it away. The solution may be to just allow admin access temporarily to users in one or more self-guided ways. The user would right click on the application the need to run as administrator and they'll be prompted to open with elevated privileges. This is where the additional configuration comes in. The administrator will have several options from which to choose. The options are to allow the elevation on their own have it auto elevate without any prompting or to have a request go to the administrator where they can approve or deny administrator privileges.
