- [Narrator] Power BI is a very useful tool. If you're interested in conducting deep analysis into your sales trends, then you'll probably need to connect to multiple data sources at some point. Power BI's data modeling feature allows you to connect, combine, then analyze multiple data sources. So here's an example of when you're going to need to combine multiple data sources. In this example, we have sales data and we have location code here but you'll notice that there is no column for state. That column exists in a separate tab, called location information. And in this example, we're going to act as if each one of these tabs are a separate data source. Here's a peak at Power BI's interface. There are three main tabs that you need to know about.
