From the course: After Effects Guru: Animating Infographics

Welcome

- Welcome to AE Guru: Animating Info graphics with After Effects. In this title I'll take you on a tour of some of the most essential tools required to successfully build any animated graphics, let alone info graphics. We'll start using the various chart and graph tools available inside of Illustrator. Then we'll prep those graphics for animation in After Effects and of course what would any motion graphics project be without a technical hurdle or two. We'll dive into Photoshop for a quick second to separate out graphic elements from a flattened graphic .png file. Then we'll move on to animating everything in After Effects using a variety of masks, color effects, and expressions. All tied together with some choice key framing. Not to stay two-dimensional, we'll even dive into Cinema 4D Lite as we blur the lines between 3D and 2D by using the cell shader. And finally, we'll finish off the course by taking a look at several different affordable third-party presets and scripts designed specifically to help you quickly build a myriad off different flexible charts and graphs. We have a lot to cover so let's get to it.
