Creating Google AMP HTML projects

- [Male Instructor] Google's Accelerated Mobile Pages is a highly performant platform for the mobile web and heavily used by major news outlets. Using Animate, you can create highly performant ads using this new technology. Right now the extension is in Beta and you can get it from the Adobe Exchange. You can search for it as AMPHTML Ad, on the Adobe Exchange at adobeexchange.com when signed in with your Adobe Creative Cloud ID, you'll be able to click on this button here and install it to Adobe Animate through the CC Desktop app. This is going to install both the ability to create AMPHTML documents and publish AMPHTML documents. All right, let's go over to Animate and see how this works. With the extension installed, you will be able to go to the advanced screen inside of Animate, and scroll down to Custom Platforms. Here, you'll be able to select AMPHTML ad, and note that it is marked as a Beta. Instead of creating one from scratch, I'm going to pull up one of the demo assets provided by Adobe. If we go ahead and play this, we can see some animation. All right, very nice. And the important thing to see here is within our published settings. You'll note that we can supply an output file name and location to this Browse icon. We can place an analytics ID for tracking, and an exit URL. In addition, we have advanced settings here which we can collapse or expand, that allow us to loop our animations, and even include hidden layers. At the very bottom, we see the version number for the AMPHTML ad plugin. From here, you can either hit Publish, or simply dismiss it with OK. Remember that the AMP platform extension is still in Beta. So certain aspects of it may change as things progress.
