- One of the things that we do quite well with responsive and flexible designs is designed for flexible widths. That's fantastic as it allows for a lot of variation in line length, tech sizes and zoom levels, and that benefits people with all kinds of different disabilities. However, there's one thing that we consistently forget about in the design process, designing with flexible height as well. In this chapter, I'll show you why you need to design with flexible height in mind, as well as width. And we'll explore some of the settings that people use to make text look the way they want it to. First, let's look at a setting that some people with low vision might use. When thinking about low vision, we thought a lot about Sean, and how he might work with websites.
