General Description

The Program Manager is responsible for managing the team, ensuring effective service delivery, and achieving successful employment outcomes for job seekers. The Program Manager develops strategic plans, coordinate program work activities, and maintain relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise the job placement team, including career advisors and job developers.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, address challenges, and ensure alignment with program goals.
  • Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve program objectives and employment targets.
  • Coordinate the activities of career advisors and job developers to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach.
  • Monitor program performance and adjust as needed to improve outcomes.
  • Ensure high-quality services are provided to job seekers, including career counseling, job search assistance, and placement support.
  • Address any escalated issues or challenges faced by clients or staff.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to funders, and senior management.
  • Use data to analyze program performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct regular program evaluations and implement improvements based on findings.
  • Introduce innovative approaches to enhance program effectiveness and client outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the job placement team.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, social work, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in data management and reporting tools.
