The Account Executive role is accountable for growing RtA’s wholesale business through partnership with leading specialty retailers. The role’s main objective is to actively drive sales by selling collections and identify revenue-driving opportunities by analyzing current sales, competitive landscape and future trends. S/he is responsible for shipping their accounts. Additionally, this role will contribute support to the wholesale team to achieve sales targets. This role is accountable for the clerical and administrative tasks within the department. This position requires domestic and/or international travel to promote RtA’s brand strategically.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the wholesale team with administrative work to ensure all targets are achieved
Account management
Consistently achieve monthly and seasonal sales plans and annual target
Build relationships with buyers and store staff through daily/ weekly communication
Explore new accounts and business opportunities to be present for approval
Work in partnership with accounts on financial plans and sales targets prior to start of the season
Drive incremental sales by monitoring seasonal reorder opportunities, stock levels and permanent programs
Monitor stores presentation and performance ensuring they meet brand standards
Liaison between Operations daily to ensure clients production and logistic needs are met
Assist accounts with PO inquires, discrepancies, RA, deliveries, damages
Manage all seasonal/special orders and ship responsible accounts
Market week/ Seasonal campaign
Market week preparation including scheduling appointment, runway show seating, aiding in reports, agenda preparations
Present collection to clients during market appointments
Collaborate with accounts on selection and coordination of seasonal buys
Check clients’ orders during sales campaign and send client order confirmations once finalized
Work with accounts to substitute any cancellations to ensure sales are not lost
Track customer orders during the campaign to ensure seasonal target is achieved
Sample management
Coordinate to borrow samples for clients shoots and training events
Responsible for receiving and distributing samples to/from inter-company and accounts
Track all samples orders for a timely delivery to/from client
Product Training/ Merchandising
Create external training material and selling tools
Frequent market visits to assess product assortment coherent with sales and image of the stores’ competitor benchmarking, visual set up, events, new opening etc.
Misc.
Produce professional quality PPT decks to be presented to management
Keep meeting notes and send recaps after each meeting to appropriate audience
Create and maintain mapping of all wholesale POS
Manage marketing/ asset request
Create and distribute weekly ATS report
Liaison with all inter-company departments and team members
Perform projects and assignments as needed/directed by manager
Ensure the highest level of customer service with all partners
Send monthly press coverage updates to accounts
Capable to travel domestically and internationally approx., but not limited to 2 weeks per month
Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, and weekends as needed to support retail stores hours and events
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE:

Exhibit a strong work ethic, high energy level, and detail/team oriented
Passion for product and retail
Minimum 3 years of wholesale experience
Proficient in PowerPoint, Photoshop, Excel (v-look ups, Pivot tables, formulas) and Word, experience using skypad program is a plus. Nu/order, Joor, or Brandboom are the preferred wholesale platforms.
Possess exemplary verbal and written communication skills; working knowledge of the French language is a plus
Ability to problem solve in a self-sufficient, resourceful manner resulting in creative solutions.
