Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Wedding and Event Assistant at Michigan Avenue Events. The Wedding and Event Assistant will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with event planning and management and executing live events. This includes providing excellent customer service, effective communication with clients and vendors, coordinating event logistics, and ensuring organizational efficiency. The role is located in the Greater Chicago Area, with flexibility for remote work.
Qualifications
- Experience in the industry is a plus
- Polished Customer Service and Communication skills
- Event Planning and Event Management skills
- Organization Skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong problem-solving, multitasking abilities and follow-up
- Experience in the event planning industry is a plus
- Experience creating design boards and design research
