General Description
The Vice President of Public and Private Partnerships builds relationships with senior leadership and key stakeholders, works to identify national best practices, provides thought leadership, and makes connections that build brand engagement to advance both Grant Associates’ work as well as the workforce development industry.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key workforce stakeholders, including businesses in target industries, community-based organizations, industry associations, education and training providers, and government agencies.
Employ a high level of emotional intelligence in interactions to understand and navigate the dynamics of various stakeholders.
Demonstrate accountability by fostering trust and collaboration, ensuring all parties involved feel valued and supported.
Coordinate and facilitate "Top to Top" meetings between Grant Associates' executive team and senior-level contacts in business and government.
Showcase critical thinking skills by identifying strategic connections and opportunities during these engagements.
Conduct ongoing target market analysis and trend monitoring, providing regular "hot sheets" to the executive team with actionable insights and next steps.
Utilize critical thinking to interpret data, foresee market shifts, and recommend proactive strategies.
Issue ongoing competitive reporting and analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and opportunities.
Exhibit resilience by adapting strategies based on competitive insights and challenges.
Collaborate with the executive team to ensure Grant Associates' offerings evolve in response to changing business, market, and competitive dynamics.
Lead regular brainstorming sessions across all markets to identify untapped opportunities for growth and service optimization, fostering a culture of team building.
Represent Grant Associates at conferences, demonstrating strong communication skills and positioning the organization as a national thought leader.
Showcase resilience and adaptability in navigating diverse conference environments.
Be willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time, demonstrating resilience and adaptability to various work settings.
Work And Education Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in sales, business development, partnerships, or other relationship-based leadership role, demonstrating a track record of meeting or exceeding target goals.
Proven ability to influence and educate cross-functional groups, including senior leadership, showcasing developing/coaching skills.
Experience engaging with executive leadership and board of directors on strategy and business development initiatives and programs.
Demonstrated experience in conducting market, industry, and company research, applying critical thinking for strategic recommendations.
Strong written and oral communication skills, highlighting a high level of emotional intelligence in interactions.
High proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 required, prior experience with Salesforce a plus.
Salary: $135k-$140k
