Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Vice President of Product to lead their product strategy and development efforts in the fraud prevention sector. This role will be crucial in shaping the future of their product offerings, driving innovation, and ensuring exceptional value delivery to their clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with the company’s vision, market needs, and competitive landscape.
Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing product management team. Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the team.
Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the fraud prevention space.
Product Development: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products. Work closely with engineering, design, and data science teams to develop and refine product features.
Customer Focus: Engage with customers to understand their needs and pain points. Gather feedback to continuously improve products and ensure they meet customer expectations.
Roadmap Management: Define and prioritize the product roadmap, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term strategic goals. Communicate the roadmap effectively to stakeholders and ensure alignment across the organization.
Innovation: Drive innovation by identifying new product opportunities and leveraging emerging technologies to enhance fraud prevention capabilities.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and customer support to ensure successful product launches and adoption.
KPIs and Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in the fraud prevention or cybersecurity industry.
Expertise: Deep understanding of fraud prevention technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory environment.
Leadership: Proven track record of leading and scaling product teams. Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
