Drafting and preparing probate filings in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Virginia.
Facilitating the complete administration process of estates and trusts, including asset sales and transfers.
Completing Federal and State estate tax returns.
Ensuring efficient and timely management of all estate and trust administration tasks.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or a Paralegal certificate.
Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, with a proficiency in client and professional interactions.
In-depth knowledge of probate and trust administration procedures.
Advanced computer literacy, specifically in probate tax and accounting software (GEMS preferred), with EVP, iManage, and Microsoft Office being advantageous.
A keen eye for detail, capability to handle a substantial caseload, strong mathematical skills, and a basic understanding of estate and income tax principles.
A collaborative work ethic, able to engage effectively with attorneys and support personnel.
