InfraHire is looking for a Trial Attorney in Los Angeles Metropolitan Area
A successful candidate will have 10+ years of litigation experience, including a successful record of multiple jury verdicts and a representative list of bench trials and/or jury trials conducted as first chair to verdict. The candidate will demonstrate a desire to serve the public interest by advocating on behalf of California consumers pursuing claims against car manufacturers and car dealers. The position calls for a hardworking, dedicated, discovery-driven, and nimble senior trial attorney with strong communication skills and a can-do attitude.
Knight Law Group offers an aggressive, consumer-focused trial docket, and there may be a role to Firm Partnership for successful trial attorneys.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Assume first chair responsibilities for trial efforts
Work collaboratively on the development of trial strategy
Conduct complicated research projects in the prosecution of KLG cases
Additional consideration given to those with significant experience in Arbitration, Coordinated Proceedings and Multi-District Litigation
Direct interface with specialized outside counsel on behalf of the firm and its clients
Draft moving papers, oppositions involving novel and complicated issues
Appear at hearing for motions and oppositions
Conduct depositions of PMK witnesses, apex employees, mechanical and fraud experts, etc.
Seek out out and recommend improvements in client communication
Collaborate with colleagues to implement policies and develop improvements
Resolution of issues that may arise in a timely manner
Timely reporting of hours
Assist in other tasks as assigned by the Managing Partner or Partner
Qualifications/Skills
J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
Member in good standing of the California Bar
At least ten (10) years of litigation and trial experience as a licensed attorney
Demonstrable strength in client communication
Proficient in MS Office and the use of Attorney timekeeping programs, as well as Client file management
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
Strong time management, decision-making and problem-solving abilities
Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
Bilingual Spanish is preferred
Operate standard office equipment
Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
