Job Description: Traveling Biomedical Equipment Tech II
Location: St. Augustine, FL
The Traveling Biomedical Equipment Tech II will be responsible for the following:
Performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and calibrations on a variety of biomedical equipment at various healthcare facilities in the St. Augustine, FL area.
Providing technical support to clinical staff on the proper use and maintenance of biomedical equipment.
Assisting with the installation and testing of new biomedical equipment.
Maintaining accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
Communicating effectively with customers and management regarding equipment status and service needs.
Adhering to all company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations and standards.
Participating in on-call rotation for after-hours service calls.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the repair and maintenance of biomedical equipment.
Strong knowledge of electronics, mechanical systems, and computer software/hardware.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
