Summary

This position is responsible for designing and creating technical and non-technical training. This training will be primarily at the Kansas location but occasionally at other InfuSystem sites, to ensure the technical resources are adequately trained to meet customer demand and maintaining our “Customer is 1st” culture by taking ownership, solving their problems, and exceeding expectations.

In This Role, The Ideal Candidate Will

  • Create, assign, and report on eLearning modules such as feature demos, applied tutorials, step-by-step guides, workshop presentations, hands-on exercises, knowledge assessments, learner surveys, and other instructional materials that can be combined and recombined into different online courses and pathways.
  • Maintain learning plans by position for all InfuSystem personnel ensuring courses are current and updated within InfuSystem’s LMS.
  • Liaises with Quality and Compliance department to ensure revision level training is updated in the authoring tool and LMS, as well as assigned to required learners.
  • Schedule and coordinate new hire training for all InfuSystem employees
  • Create, maintain, and communicate training schedules for all InfuSystem departments.
  • Track and report to management completion status of all required training including annual compliance training.
  • Evaluate and identify the strengths and weaknesses of the training modules to report the findings and suggest/create solutions
  • Assist with maintaining the lifecycle of eLearning by following regular software releases, including revising eLearning, editing video and text, while curating and recombining modules, as needed, and recommending content to be archived or repurposed.
  • Work with the departmental leaders to schedule and complete training activities to meet the daily and long term demands of the business.
  • Measure the effectiveness of eLearning with surveys, and then making modifications to ensure we are meeting our intended objectives and continually improving our customer learning experiences.
  • Assist departmental leaders by monitoring and updating the LMS to accurately document training and ensure training is completed by or before due date.
  • Troubleshoot and communicate with internal customers on an as needed basis.
  • Remain flexible, open, and eager to learn/teach fellow employees to best meet and exceed the business and industry standards and expectations at all times.
  • Provide regular training metrics as determined by the organization.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have The Following Qualifications

  • Experienced instructional designer: 2 years of professional experience in learner needs analysis, curriculum design, online course development and asset production, while adhering to best practices such as ADDIE, as well other pedagogical approaches to ensure accessibility compliance, and learning effectiveness (e.g., Kirkpatrick model) within a digital environment.
  • 2-5 years of experience working with authoring software required, DominKnow preferred.
  • Excellent time management skills, public speaking skills, problem solving skills, excellent verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organization skills, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Inspiring translator of all things technical: Ability to convert technical or scientific applications into plain language that customers can understand and appreciate—to create those “lightbulb moments” with learners. Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented creativity: Ability to work within our brand and style guidelines to create accurate, complete, and compelling multimedia learning experiences.
  • Knowledgeable about learning management systems, instructional design and e-learning platforms.
  • Powerful collaborator and team player: Proven experience working effectively across globally distributed teams, and with different customers (executives, admins, managers, and end-users) from across a variety of industry segments. Excellent listening and critical thinking skills, with the ability to diplomatically address areas of perceived disagreement.

  • Medical device troubleshooting, and repair experience is required.
  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and two years related experience on medical devices.
  • Ability to instruct, evaluate and train employees.

  • Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
