Training and Development Specialist

We are currently seeking a Training & Development Specialist to join our manufacturing team at the Wichita, KS facility. In this role you will be responsible f or the preparation of knowledge and technical based courses. Working with hourly & salaried employees, team leaders, and supervisors on the manufacturing floor to implement improvements.

Responsibilities


  • Train and develop defined employee groups.
  • Establish requirements, measuring and implementing actions to close gaps.
  • Conduct training sessions for assembly and production workers.
  • Provide instruction on safety procedures, equipment operation, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with managers to identify training needs and improve processes.
  • Lead teams to put in place actions to eliminate errors.
  • Monitor trainees’ progress and evaluates training efficiency.
  • Prepare knowledge and technical based courses and the conducting of these courses
  • Work as part of a team in determining and implementing activities to continue to build a better workplace for all employees.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree (Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field) and 2 years of relevant experience with 1+ years of training and development and/or lean project management experience in a manufacturing setting.


The Preferred Candidate will have:


  • The ability and/or experience in finding creative solutions to problems
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities
  • Demonstrated use of Microsoft Office Suite

The annual salary for this role is $70,500 - $103,400 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
